Meet the owners

After several years of hard work and administrative tasks, we are thrilled to finally open our doors to guests at Remezzo – La Marinière in Mochlos, Crete. As a French-Cretan fusion restaurant, we aim to offer our customers a unique culinary experience that combines the best of both worlds. Our head chef, Pierre Babolat, brings his passion for local ingredients and traditional Cretan recipes to the kitchen, while also incorporating his classical French training and techniques. The result is a menu that showcases the diversity and richness of Cretan cuisine, with a touch of French sophistication.

Laurent Laffond, our talented pastry chef and restaurant manager, completes the team with his infectious smile, generous spirit, and exceptional service.
